Get the Look: Lela Rose by Stila
Friday, June 04, 2010Exam fever is still very much in the air here, so I haven't got a personal life to post about. Instead, I am here to post about my dreams of life after exams.
Of course, I will go out and have more fun than you could ever imagine :)
I started thinking about clothes to wear and how I could try not to look like I got stranded in the jungle for 3 weeks.
I came across this face chart that Stila did for the Lela Rose fashion show. I watched a little video clip of an interview with the makeup artist, Tina Turnbow, and she said that the inspiration was a very forest-y, dewy look. Perfect.
Tina also said that this look matches all skin tones. Yet again, perfect.
The products used to get this look:
Stila's Precious Pearl Palette, USD 30 + USD 5.99 postage: The green and gold shadows from this palette were used on the outer eye and blended in
For the 3 varying shades lining the eyes: Kajal Eyeliner in Emerald and Pearl, and Smudge Pot in Jade
For the face: Sheer Colour Tinted Moisturizer, Perfecting Concealer, and Sheer Pressed Powder
For the cheeks: Convertible Colour in Camellia: USD 14.05 + USD 6 postage
To highlight: Constellation eyeshadow (beige shimmer) was brushed on the height of the cheekbone and over the brows
