I was given the opportunity to trial the first ever ILoveThisBox a few weeks ago. I'm sure by now everyone is familiar with the sample box trend - where you sign up for a small fee each month, and a box is delivered to your door each month containing samples from various companies.

ILoveThisBox has a monthly subscription fee of AUD 14.95, and you can cancel your subscription at any time.

The box that I received is the November box, and the products in the box are pictured below:


The box contained a couple of full sized products - Sunsilk shampoo and conditioner from their Keratinology range, and Pod's Liquid Tan Face Serum. They also had a Nvey eco eyeshadow, which I think is full-sized.

There were also some sample products from skincare brand Claudalie, and an Essie nail polish from their French Affair Spring 2011 collection.


I think my favourite products in this box were the Essie nail polish and the Nvey eco eyeshadow in Shade 172 - a nice dark taupe colour.


Overall, I think this box contained some really interesting products. However, I do also think that, in comparison to the boxes in the overseas markets, this box didn't contain products that I can sufficiently describe as 'luxe'. I would have been a whole lot more excited if there were more luxury or hard-to-attain brands in the box, but overall I think this was a solid effort from ILoveThisBox.
