My Christmas Wishlist
Wednesday, December 22, 2010In the spirit of the holidays, I thought I'd write up a little Christmas wishlist, just for fun. Maybe it'll help inspire those of you who are stuck on what to get someone :)
Top row (left to right)
SK-II Facial Treatment Essence
This is a cult beauty product, touted as a product that improves the appearance of skin, brightens, and luminizes.
Benefit Girl Meets Pearl Luminizer
This is another one of the products that I have found to satisfy my shimmer craving. True to its name, it has a pearl-like luminescence, with a pink tone and loads of shimmer.
Benefit Benetint Lip and Cheek Stain
In my previous post, I wrote about waterproof makeup for summertime and the beach. Benetint is a waterproof product that helps you fake a rosy flush that will last all day, even after swimming.
Imju Fiberwig Mascara
This is a product that has recently gained cult status for building lashes to extreme lengths. As its name suggests, the mascara wand actually picks up fibers in the product, and delivers it onto the lashes. Sounds kind of creepy to me, but with such a huge and faithful following, I am curious to find out just how good this mascara is. Note, though, that this mascara is famous for adding length, not volume.
Second row (left to right)
MorroccanOil Hair Treatment
Once again, another product that has rapidly gained a cult following. It is said to smooth, de-frizz, and create shine, as well as improve the overall health of your hair.
MAC Eye Kohl
Many major makeup artists cite this product as their go-to for smouldering, smoky eyes. This product is pigmented (as MAC products are famous for), smudges beautifully, and is perfect for creating a beautiful smoky eye.
Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick
I wrote about this in a previous post. This is a very highly shimmery blush. This is on my wishlist because of my never-ending obsession with shimmer and luminizers (see: Girl Meets Pearl, above).
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Liners
These liners are famous for their beautiful colours and their staying power. My favourite colours are El Dorado (a beautiful gold), and Ransom (a shimmery, multi-colour purple).
Third row (left to right)
Stila Smudge Sticks
This product was only recently released, but is fast becoming known as a liner that will not budge (in a good way!). They are very vibrant in colour, and stay put all day, even in the toughest weather. I love Koi, a gold colour, but all the other colours are equally beautiful and vibrant.
Bangles
I am not fussed when it comes to brands, I will wear anything as long as it looks good! I want bangles, and I'm drawing inspiration from Kenneth Jay Lane and Vita Fede. Their bangles are beautiful and very rock-chic.
