I have always loved watercolour paintings. There's just something about the way the paint blooms on the canvas, creating these little blurry blobs that don't look like anything until you look at the picture as a whole. I think they are so pretty and whimsical, and they always make me feel really happy and light-hearted.

So you can imagine my delight when I found a pair of canvas flats with a beautiful watercolour motif, and for only $15! I found said pair of flats on a fabulous shopping trip (which I will be blogging about tomorrow), which was the start of a fabulous weekend.

You know the kind of weekend you spend with your loved ones, and the sun shines like it's never going to stop and the breeze blows through your hair and you just feel so content you want to burst into song in the middle of the street? That was my weekend ♥
