On Friday, we rented a car and drove to Morningto to visit Sorrento.

We stayed at a charming little motel called the Sorrento Beach Motel - I highly recommend it! It's a cute row of little colourful cabins making a little enclosure, with car parking spaces right in front of the cabins.

The inside of the cabin was even better - beautiful and clean. If there's one thing I cannot stand, it's a dirty hotel room. This one was perfect - everything from the sheets to the bathroom was spotless!


We had dinner at a little place called Via Sorrento (great risotto) on Ocean Beach Road, and then retired to our rooms for the night. Jace and I had loads of fun with my Dad's iPad playing a game called Zombieville - we ended up sleeping way past 12 because of it!

The next morning, we went to Ocean Beach Road to walk around and shop a little.


We also drove to Rye Beach for a little walk on the jetty.


Oh, by the way....


I think my Dad has taken a liking to Chloe  :)
