Hello everyone! I'm back and finally fully rested after my Bali trip. It was a wonderful 5 days' worth of exploring Bali and enjoying the company of my cousins and the 'in-laws'.

I will post some pictures of Bali soon, but first, an FOTD that was meant to be posted via scheduled posting, but since my scheduled posting is a little bit screwed up, it never made it.

I was inspired by Lindsay Lohan's thick thick eyeliner, and wanted to recreate that kind of look. I'm a sucker for anything that really accentuates the eyes, so I wanted to try this look really badly. Here's what I did:

I used MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack for the eyeliner. In hindsight, it may not have been the best choice, because my lids get a little oily if I don't watch where I am and what I do in Malaysia. Blacktrack is not waterproof and will smudge, as it did on my eyes. I recommend going for a more waterproof eyeliner like Stila's All Day Waterproof Liquid liner, or a pencil liner that is waterproof for a more smudgy, smoky effect.


I drew the line slightly above the crease of my eye. I have Asian eyes, so they're really small and I had to take care not to draw the line too thickly, or it would have looked like one big thick line instead of an extra line above my crease.

If you have bigger eyes, it will be much easier. I do think that when doing this look, you should lightly draw a line with an easily removable, white eyeshadow/eyeliner first, so you know where exactly your line will go. Once you draw the line, there's no turning back, so you want to draw the white eyeshadow/liner as accurately as possible.


Please excuse the funny faces in the pictures - I was rushing, so I didn't really test out the angles and faces (lol).
