30-Day Makeup Challenge: Day 2

Sunday, October 09, 2011

Hi guys! I hope you're all having a gorgeous weekend!

I'm just updating my 30-day Makeup Challenge - I was out yesterday, and that's why I'm only posting day 2 today. Bad blogger, I know! So this is a look I wore out yesterday afternoon - I had to be out the entire day and then head straight over to Jacie's birthday celebration. By the time evening hit, I was an oily mess, but the makeup was still very much in place, so I was really pleased with the lasting power!

I used a touch of bronzer with a very light hand to contour my face today, though I'm not sure the difference is noticeable.

Again, I didn't use anything on my lips - I am really bad with lipstick upkeep, so I tend to just not bother with it.

Everything about this makeup was really subtle - I used a darker purple eyeshadow on the outer corners to contour the eye a little, but blended it in with a brush that already had some of the colour on my inner lid on it, so the purple would be muted down.

I also ran some contour colour through my crease, just to warm it up and contour the eye a little.
