Some of you might remember my Subtle Energies Skincare review, posted a while back. If you remember the post, you may have remembered that I ran into a little bit of trouble with the cleanser, because it crystallised in the bottle and clogged the pump.

The PR and Subtle Energies themselves were so receptive and helpful, and explained the reason for the problem to me. Here's what they had to say:

Due to the natural ingredients in these products, particles had been forming in cooler temperatures in the bottom of our cleansing gels. Although these particles did not decrease the efficacy or quality of the product, Subtle Energies has since reformulated their 2 cleansing gels still using only natural ingredients.

They also immediately sent over the new stock that rectified the problem!

I was a little worried at first because I thought that if they had to reformulate it, they would probably have had to compromise something, which meant that the cleanser probably wouldn't perform as well. I took my time trialling the facial wash that they sent, and I can safely say that it still works wonderfully!

I particularly loved their Gentle Neem Cleansing Gel - it smelt of lavender (so lovely!) and did a good job cleansing my skin. Most importantly, my skin didn't feel at all tight or dry after cleansing.

I find that it is gentle enough to use for anything - before I put on a face mask, after I remove my makeup with cleansing oil, when I need to wash off the oil on my face before I put on my makeup for a night out. And the problem with the clogged pump? Completely gone!
