Product Review: Clean & Clear Deep Action In-Shower Facial

I was sent this product to review only about 2 weeks ago, and already I am obsessed with it!

What Clean & Clear say
works in three ways for skin that feels refreshed, revived and completely clean. Detoxifies deep with a purifying formula made with natural fruit acids that work with the shower's steam to deeply cleanse the pores. Exfoliating beads sweep away dead surface skin, while natural skin conditioners leave skin soft and smooth.

This is probably what I would call a mask - and 'works with the steam in your shower'. Clean & Clear claims that this 'detoxifies, smoothes & softens skin in one minute'. Directions say to apply it in the shower, on a wet face, leave on for a minute, then massage into skin and rinse off.

I tend to slather this on my wet face before I step into the shower, and wash it off after I've washed my hair, so I give it enough time to sink in. Then I massage the grainy beads into my skin and wash everything off. After I wash it off, my goodness does my skin feel amazing!

It feels tingly and fresh, with a yummy minty smell. It also feels exceptionally smooth and soft. Softens and smoothens? check.

After using this product for about 2 weeks, 2-3 times a week, I can honestly say that my skin is clearer overall. I do believe this product has helped a lot with the congestion and breakouts I've been suffering recently. Detoxifies? Check.

I LOVE this! I highly recommend this little gem. It retails for AUD 10.79 and is, in my opinion, worth every cent.

One thing to note about this product is that it contains AHA, which can leave your skin vulnerable to UV rays. So though this is a given even if you're not using this product, remember to apply sunscreen!
