I took part last year and really benefitted from this trip because it helped me come out of my shell a little more. I met the most amazing girls on the trip, who I still keep in touch with to this day, and who have gone on to do amazing things.

I don't have perfect skin. I have acne and acne scars, but I'm working towards healthier, happier skin, and more importantly, a happier, more confident self, so I have the courage to show myself for who I am, and my skin for what it is. I want to accept my skin's journey and show people that they're not alone in theirs. This Experience helped me with that and with so much more, and I do believe it will help anyone who has the courage to join as well.

As some of you may have seen on my Facebook and Instagram pages, I was lucky enough to join Cetaphil recently on their Cetaphil Experience trip to The Farm at San Benito, Philippines. The purpose of this trip was to find our skin confidence and learn about ourselves, and our skin.

We were flown in together with skincare experts, a lovely motivational speaker, as well as bloggers from countries all over Southeast Asia. Along with us were winners, one from each country, who were chosen from video submissions from girls wanting to discover themselves and their skin through this experience.

We sat through motivational talks, educational skincare activities and tutorials, and were pampered with gorgeous food, the most beautiful chalets ever, as well as super relaxing spa experiences.


We learned so many things from this trip, and I want to share with you my biggest takeaways, about both myself and my skin.

1. You create your own success. Set goals, think about how you can achieve them, and then work towards those goals. You have all the resources you need within yourself, you just have to learn how to unlock them.
2. Using non-comedogenic products helps keep your pores unclogged. Find makeup that's non-comedogenic and you won't be harming your skin when you wear makeup.
3. Chocolate does not cause skin problems. YAY!!

Hey guys! I'm in the final hours of my first day here with Cetaphil and it's been a total whirlwind! In case you guys didn't know, I've joined Cetaphil on their Cetaphil Experience trip to The Farm at San Bonito in the Philippines. We're here to learn about skin confidence and what it means to be a Cetaphil woman.

I honestly don't have much to report since we only got here extremely late and since then all we've done is eat, meet the other lovely bloggers and winners, and play games. The Farm at San Bonito is a lovely, remote spa resort and our villa is beautiful. On a side note, I've gotten closer to frogs than I've ever been in my life, and I'm extremely uncomfortable thinking about the fact that I'll be doing the same tomorrow night!

Frogs aside, I'm looking forward to learning more about Cetaphil and about my own skin,. Let's see how tomorrow goes!

Cetaphil, skincare brand famous for its gentle-yet-effective cleansers (I know Liv Tyler and a host of other celebrities are huge fans!), recently launched a campaign for women to share their stories on their journey to good skincare, with the chance for one lucky girl from Malaysia to win a trip to an award-winning retreat in the Philippines!

I'm so excited to announce that I'm going to be part of this experience in the Philippines, and I cannot wait to head over there with the winners and other bloggers to experience all that the retreat and Cetaphil both have to offer! We'll be learning about skincare, how to treat problematic skin and regain self-confidence, plus sharing and learning about skincare solutions from key experts in the industry.
